Cebu Parklane International Hotel, the organizer of this event, has added a feat to this event, long distance runners for 21K and 12K will have the timing chip.
“The runners can now check their time directly online. It’s a welcome change for the event and a thing that we will do annually now,” shares Cenelyn Manguilimotan Cebu Parklane International Hotel general manager.
Nic Nacorda, the chairman of the fun run, said that the use of timing chip is to address the runners’ need to see the results.
The running event, a tribute to the hotel’s past president, the late Manuel Ting, has come a long way since it started. With a record number of 2,200 participants last year, the organizers are aiming to draw 2,500 runners for this edition.
