Picture this: you can have all the seafood you want, cooked to your exact liking? Sounds good, doesn’t it? Trust us, it tastes even better and we can attest to that especially after we were given more than a taste of what’s to come one Saturday evening.
This writer together with some of Cebu’s finest bloggers and writers, were invited to take part of a gastronomic feast unlike any other. Admittedly, as someone who often cites “pork belly” as my favorite seafood, this was bound to get interesting.
Kidding aside, as I arrived to the shindig and said my hellos to a few familiar faces, I quickly turned my attention to the display of live sea creatures situated to the far right of the dining hall. There, I found King Crabs, a huge tank filled with Sea Mantis and Lobsters, tiny shrimps and the like. Talk about fresh!
Not long after we sat down, a parade of different dishes made their way to our table. First there was Steamed Live Suahe served with Soy Sauce on the side, which was soon followed by a particular Filipino favorite – the Squid Adobo. The hits just kept on coming not long after that: Tinola Tangigue Soup, Fried Grouper, Mud Crabs with Salt and Pepper and Rock Lobster in Butter Sauce (Hands down, my favorite!).
There was even Grilled Pork Belly served for those with discriminating tastes.
For dessert, a plate of mixed fruits was given to us to complete what was an utterly fulfilling meal.
So if you’re in the mix for the freshest and most delectable seafood fare in town, why not head on over to the Best Seafood Restaurant in Cebu and partake in fresh and live fish, crustaceans and vegetables?
Hurry though as the Paluto All-You-Can is only until the 31st of October.
Yes, there are plenty of fish in the sea and nobody prepares them better than Isla Sugbu Seafood City!
