Association of Cebu, Inc (HRRAC), now on its 12th year is still the biggest, the most anticipated and exciting culinary competition in Visayas, with this year's theme "fruits of The Earth."
This year, the event will highlight the skills and mastery of the culinary art by professional chefs and aspiring chefs from different hotels, resorts, culinary schools and universities from all over Cebu and neighboring provinces like Bohol, Negros, Dumaguete and lloilo.
It will be held at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu on July 22 and 23, 2016 and is expected to attract combined visitors of 5,000 to sample culinary delights over the two-day food-filled event, cooking demonstrations and the prestigious culinary competition.
There will be 20 culinary related competitions like, cake decorating, speed cooking, and bartending, there will also be table setting, menu setting, The Chocolate Chamber Challenge, The Noodle Challenge and a lot more. These competitions will be divided into 3 categories; the professional category, culinary school category and student/university category.
The competitions will be judged by renowned chefs and culinary stars from the capital like cookbook author and restaurateur Myrna Segismundo, Asian Food Channel host Bruce Lim, pastry chef Penk Ching, Blue Ribbon Awardee and lead trainer for the US Agriculture Council of Chefs Jill Sandique, Lifestyle Network's Sharwin Tee, and celebrity chef and culinary heritage advocate Myke Tatung Sarthou.
