Best of Cebu 2015

Everyone was in high spirits last June 11, Saturday at the Oakridge Pavilion as all the foodies go on a gastronomic tour of Cebu in one venue. It was a perfect afternoon to celebrate the most awaited and anticipated event of the year, the unveiling of Sun.Star Best of Cebu Awardees to the public.


Now on its third year, Sun.Star awarded 97 winners in eight categories with a badge of excellence and seal of approval as THE BEST Cebu has to offer for 2015. It wasn’t an easy feat for the judges though after months of surveys, scrutiny, deliberation and decision-making.


A lot of games and surprises were in store for the guests from eating contests to post-your- selfie-in-social media gimmick and a lot of premium items and gift certificates were raffled off on that day while there were bands and free fitness sessions that entertaining everyone in the pavilion. All for these exciting perks for 150Php! So no one went home empty-handed that night.


Sun.Star started this annual pursuit with a goal In mind to come up with a year-ender list to recognize excellence and to celebrate the best that Cebu has to offer from gastronomic feasts, entertainment to lifestyle choices.

As early as now, Sun.Star is starting to make a new list for Best of Cebu 2016 and they need the public’s help by sharing your bets of those you think deserve a spot for next year.
