One of the highlights of my Mindanao journey would definetly be Siargao! For some reason, I had all the confidence to travel to the Surfing Capitol of The Philippines without a companion! Although I was able to file for a leave, I lacked preparation and braved the journey from CDO anyway. The bus rides were intoxicating, but once I got here, it was everything and more.

Since I was alone and I really wanted to Island hop, the owner of the resort I stayed in (Shout out to the Quintas family!) suggested that I share the trip with a couple. Because saving was, of course, a good idea, I agreed. Because of that, I met John and Ida, both established professionals from Manila, who were also vacationing just like me. Yehey to impromptu friendship!
For my second day, we went to the Magpupungko Beach and the three most talked about islets around the island--Dako, Guyam and Naked.
