When lions and dragons dance, the place comes alive and the celebration begins, as soon as the beating of the drums breathes life into the air.
When the music stops, the dancing ends, and the crackling of the firecrackers begin, to drive away evil spirits and to obtain good luck.

The resort’s Chinese restaurant, Tea of Spring, offered an indulgent selection of Chef Bun Boon Hoe’s specialties, such as Wok-Fried Skewered Prawn with Baby Abalone and Broccoli, and Deep-Fried Boneless Chicken stuffed with Minced Tangigue and Almond Flakes, among many others.
Other highlights include the Pears and Salmon Yee Sang, meant to bring in prosperity for the coming year, and Deep-Fried Tikoy, a popular treat for the celebration.
Complementing these culinary delights is Tea of Spring’s Frozen Chinese Iced Tea that comes in two variants, Memories of Spring and Colors of Spring. These specials were available from February 7 and 8.
