Nganong wala pa man nagkacomic convention sa Cebu?

Would anyone be interested in one?

My batch org's looking for an event to organize, and I was suggesting a Comic Con. Help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a convention on Nov. 18 at Sacred heart. It's called ARCHcon2007. It's more on a hobbies convention.

It features Hobbies Display, Tournaments (Magic etc.). Comic Artist Display (Local artists will feature their work.), Costume Contest (cosplay), Playstation or PS2 Gaming, Drawing contest

Nice na inyo comic convention idea. Para daghan na ug convention sa Cebu. Apila sab cosplay para lingaw. Hehehe.

Do you have information as to who's hosting the convention? Ug pila ang enrance/registration?

Ang nag organize kay ang Alternate Hobbies, hobby group ni siya based at SHS-Jesuit. Convention would be held at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit, St. Ignatius Hall on Nov. 18 at 9 am.

I don't know pila entrance. Ako pa tong I ask akoa friend na maoy connected ana na group. Open to all ni dili lang mga taga Sacred Heart. From what I have heard kay free entrance daw kung mag cosplay but I have to confirm this.

Yeah! I've heard of this before from Weebong. Ako walay problema. Ganahan dyud ko naay convention diri pirmi. Kung serious tanan ma kaya man tingali. Mag himo sa tingali ta group na mga anime fans unya mga mini convention or maybe film showing unya naay cosplay ug band. Pag post lang mo diri kung naay plano. Supporta ko. (Ayaw lang financially. ehehehehe)

It would be interesting if there was an anime club in Cebu that'd help.

The idea so far is called "Otaku Day". We've come up with 2 competitions so far: An original design competition for artists and a cosplay competition during the event. We'll invite people to put up booths: anime merchandise collectors and sellers, comic book fanatics, food... pagkagabii, magpaconcert mi. The finalists for the cosplay competition are going to perform during said concert, and the winners for competitions are going to be announced sad.
