    Default Bitlocked Mapped Drive


    Mayng buntag mga ka istorya, naa ko'y pangutana.

    Naa ba ta'y workarounds unsaon pag access via Network sa isa kag bitlocked Drive sa server?

    Server: Windows 2008 R2 Standard
    Workstation: Windows 7 Professional

    Scenario goes like this:
    1. Gi map ang Drive E: sa server ddto sa Workstation
    2. Gi Encrypt ug password ang Drive E: via bitlock didto sa server
    3. Drive E: sa server should remain locked, then akong e access ang via network sa Workstation.

    ang mahitabo is:
    dli ka access ang workstation sa mapped drive, not until e unlock sa server ang Encyption sa Drive.
    Pero ganhan unta ko nga remained lock lang ang Drive, then e access sa workstation nya mo prompt ang network user/pass (ActiveDirectory ID)

    Enlighten me!

    Need jud ninyo e bitlock ang network drive ? kung permissions lang diay ?

    Hello, yea actually maka buhat ta ana. Pero ang gnahan sa among boss is Kami mismo nga administrator sa server dapat dli maka sulod sa Drive *facepalm*. So dapat e encrypt jd ang password ang kani nga drive, at the same time naka mapped dapat sa Workstation with password encrypted gihapon sa A.D I.D.
