bridge connection need help

mga master ask ko unsaon pag bridge connection?

1st nakapalit ko globe modem prolink h5004nk tattoo.. ako gi reset pero dili manko maka access sa modem router makasulod ko pero dili ko ka change or edit ako unta mag set up ko 2nd hand ni nga modem router? and usa ka router kay cisco e2500? unsay maayo himoon og main router?

1. what is your objective with bridging those devices?
2. if you are bridging the devices, do you have your ISP's credentials? (like if PPPoE connection, do you have these?)

to extend my internet kay mag lisod abot ang wifi sa pikas balay...ang setting sa ako globe kay bridge man cya...

if you NEED to extend..., no need to bridge, just daisy chain it the normal way.

for me, I will just buy a very long LAN cable and extend, then connect a wifi router at the end, less hassle.

kung ang pirmi mag LAN data transfer, ma feel nimo ang difference.. pero kung i share lang ang internet connection.. dili mo matter unless 50mbps or higher imo subscription
kung 5mbps internet subscription
ang repeater maka hatag ug 30mb throughput.. mapahimoslan gihapon nimo ang imo BW sa ISP

you do have a point on that, although I have very bad experience about it, (el cheapo wireless ako gamit ato) and as much as possible I really avoid that. But, what the hell, if it works without problems then good for you and them ^_^
