    Default SUDDEN NETWORK DISCONNECTION

    Mga bro,

Can you help me with my problem? I have an internet cafe with 75 pcs. I don't know what seems to be the problem but the network suddenly disconnects. I think that the router would reboot suddenly so it cuts off my network for a few seconds then connects back. Its the first time that i have experienced this. I am currently using Linksys RV042 but when it happened, i used a D link LB 604 but its just the same since the disconnection is still occurring intermitently. I think once a day either day or night. Since i have tried two different brands already and it still occurs, i don't think that it has got to do with the router. Has anyone encountered this problem already?

Yes I agree with mbvales it could be a malware. Do you know this DoS malware. this will automatically disconnect the connection.

Maybe this can help you --> HERE

I never tried this before but try it.

If ang router mag reboot, it probably has nothing to do with the network. Nakuwangan lang cguro ug powerload since ikaduha na ni nimo nga router sakto ka nga it has nothing to do with the router either. Its the power source.
Check ang load sa imo power outlet basin taas na kaau (daghan ga saksak). try balhin ang power source sa router sa lain nga outlet ui.
many electronic devices reboot themselves if UNDERLOADED or OVERLOADED.

If your router needs to be rebooted all the time to reestablish the connection. You can try setting the "auto reconnect" feature on most routers.
This is like the router recontacting the ISP to authenticate to the servers and renew the connection. This is a solution implemented on routers for connections that are inconsistent, like line interruptions found on most ADSL connections through old telephone lines.

hmmmmm, the problem seems common to me.

    whats your internet service provider?

by the way, have you checked your modem's "internet led light indicator" if it blinked when disconnection occured? cause if it did, sad to its your ISP.

actually, also with my line now, it disconnects anytime within the day for seconds, very annoying,no good, and unstable. reported it to my ISP, they gave support, but the problem is still present.
