I am a little iffy about this.
I depend a lot on either corporate or individual sponsorship for my little business. This network war waged by ABS-CBN and GMA and brought by them to the doorstep of their audience would somewhat point to the likelihood of corporate sponsorship thinning out in the light of present economic crisis; precisely why these networks --- through their fancy campaign of Kapuso and Kapamilya taglines --- would now want to strengthen their ratings game and corner audience share. Only then can they rest thinking they now have the lead in audience share to attract corporate sponsorship.
In the meantime, we the insignificant players of the game die silently.
