    Yes, I recommend this novel!

    Good call, sir!

And a twist that is as shocking as it can be infuriating...

When I was reading it, I would have pictured Sandra Bullock cos our heroine, Casey has this kind of vulnerability to her... like in the scene where she is chased, she stumbles and gets bruised... and only has yogurt for dinner.

And if I was the producer of a movie adaptation of AIRFRAME I would have hired Barry Levinson to direct, who helmed SPHERE and DISCLOSURE....

I don't know what happened to the rumored John McTiernan adaptation that was supposed to star Demi Moore...

THE 13TH WARRIOR is a McTiernan adaptation by the way of a Crichton novel of a different name.

Good book! Gives you an insiders' view of the aerospace industry.

I also enjoyed Crichton's non-fiction book 'Travels'. Good reading.

I think "The Great Train Robbery" was his first book that was adapted in to a movie. Screen play was written by someone else but he directed it himself.

Is Michael Crichton's prose any better than or as good as Stephen King's?

  10. #10
for me..King is better but i like how Crichton easily translates scientific statements into simple understandable prose..
