ako bro, ang akaong profit on 3 stocks last year kay naka palit ug 100 sqm residential lot na pre selling.
By the way, kun ako naa'y puhonan para franchise sa Jollibee na pweteng dako-a (> 30 KK php naman ang franchise nila dba?), i would happily invest the whole amount sa JFC stock (para apple-to-apple ang company ha) then trading dayon. Wala pa'y overhead cost. Dako pa kaayo ang ginansya. Kun mag store franchise ta nila, naa sa 5 yrs or more ang ROI.

Mao ni sila bro, ABS-CBN (bought low last 2014), DNL (bought low last 2014) and JFC (bought low last 2013)... Then shoot sa balde last year. Then reinvest the profit in buying real estate properties. Ang capital, balik sa stock market...
Dako pud ko'g na profit sa ALI kay naka sakay man ko atong less than 550 php ang price nya. Invested the profit into another real estate pud. It was on another residential lot purchase.Last edited by lloyd_joy; 05-12-2016 at 08:20 AM.

you don't need to hear fancy stories to get you motivated in stocks investing, anyway, i bought MBT shares january this year at 68.30 per share and sold it just this morning May 13 at 86.25 per share, that is 17.95 per share profit..... Originally Posted by gwap0

During the 2009 financial crisis, I was able to get a lot of shares at a bargain, like MEG at P1.6 - 1.7, ALI at less than P10. Barato man tanan at that time. I was also able to get SMB (now delisted) at IPO price. For SMB alone, mga 1M ang profit kay I was able to sell it at mga P27 in just a few years. I used the money to pay for a lot of things last 2011. Lately, wala kaayo koy stock positions but when an opportunity like 2009 comes again, I'm sure shopping nasad.
Sayon ra isulti pero lisod i execute. During times na bati ang market and barato ang stocks, imagine ang stock na gikan sa P4 mahimong P2. If mopalit ka sa 2, naay adlaw maabot siyag P1. 50% nalang sa imong kwarta nahabilin. If mahadlok ka, aw goodbye money gyud inig baligya. Thankfully, I held my positions - which is probably a result sa akong philosophy not to invest money na kinahanglanon in the near future. Wa ko nahalok sa akong investment. Gi tie lang gyud nako akong kwarta sa akong chosen stocks for a time... then profit after waiting.

^ sakto gyud ni. Basta mag invest ta sa stock market, dapat ang money, dili pang daily sustenance. Dapat pwede sya matulog kun kinahanglanon. Then hinugtanay gyud sa bakos kun mo drop and prices. Then kun naa pang palit, palit para puno basta lang nice and company. Sayon i sulti but lisod himoon labi na, dako na ang alkanse. Hehehehe. Pero kun mo balik na sa normal ang market, aw, wala'y kabutangan ang ngisi.
