Is PMS really necessary?

Katong sakyanan sa ako uncle sauna ba every 10,000 kms ang warranty PMS apan talagsa ra kaayo magamit it took over 6 years to hit the 10,000 kilometers mark. Though wa ko ka remember naa ba jud major issues ato all I know ma void ang mga warranty claims kung way record ug PMS sa casa. So neceasary ba jud? Sama sad nahitabo sa amo motor sauna, sige tune up hantod na loose thread ang roska sa carburetor, gipapalit si mama ug brand new na carb..hinampak!

Ask the casa if under warranty pa ba... if not pwede naman sa gawas magpa.PMS... for resale value or selling the unit , it's a plus if casa maintained...
Not all casa are the same, naay mamonal and/or mangahoy...naa pd buotan...

Kanang PMS na 100,000 kilometers kung sundon na murag muabot man tingali Php70-100k ang magasto. Ang question worth ba ang maintenance. Muras ra man gihapon kung naa major component ma breakdown di pod free replacement.

kung brand new og under warranty na, no choice gyud kay kay i void man ang warranty... pero if you can bare not having warranty, pwede ra gyud ka PMS sa gawas (not CASA)...

so to answer your question, yes it is necessary to have regular PMS on your car, CASA or not, in warranty or not, regardless kung talagsa ra kaayo gamiton kay kinahanglan gyud ka mag change oil, etc... ideally at least every 6 months but daog nana 8 to 10 months or even yearly...

IMO, CASA PMS may not really be worth it, but you have reasons to consider why (or why not) go with CASA...

Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) is necessary to have your car check for any issues that might arise in the long run. Usually Air Filter/brake fluids/oil change and etc.. this is for your benefit as well para WORKING AND GOOD CONDITIONED imong car always.


If you have a brand new car, much advisable to have it service thru your car manufacturer (CASA), but the more mileage na like if you have already done 1st/2nd/3rd, on your 4th and succeeding PMS, you can just have it done outside na...

You can have it done even in any Shell Stations, you just buy the oil/filter and they'll do the job for you.. or if you know the Ins and outs of your car.. you can DIY already...

Sa akong basa2x ug blog makabidli man gud anang tuplok na dealers, like "ilisan" daw ug pyisa wa diay. Overpriced parts, unnecessary tweaks..kana bang ang mga CASA they always assume that owners dont give a rat's a@s kay salig tuod daw...na bya mga tawo na greasemonkeys..
