Pacquiao sued over nondisclosure of shoulder injury–report

A lawsuit was filed against Manny Pacquiao in the US District Court in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning (early Wednesday in Manila) for the Filipino boxer’s failure to disclose his shoulder injury before his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Las Vegas last Saturday (Sunday in the Philippines), according to a report by the 8newsnow.com.

The report said the potential class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of Staphane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran, both of Clark County, who are seeking as much as $5 million in damages.

The plaintiffs said they relied on misrepresentations and non-disclosures when they bought their tickets or pay per view showings and wagered on the Mayweather-Pacquiao “fight of the century.”

Also named in the lawsuit, according to the report, are Bob Arum of Top Rank Inc.; Michael Koncz, Pacquiao’s adviser; Todd Duboef; and possible unknown defendants.

So childish and somehow makes a mockery of the Nevada Sports Committee making them appear as if they lack that proponent of checking the pugilists condition before that high risk mauling sports. I could say Pacman became so clumsy making the post fight revelation and of course the committee will defend itself against criticism and keep credibility.
