LG gets sued over the abysmal performance and reliability of the Optimus 2X

LG is being sued in California over the T-Mobile's version of Optimus 2X - the G2x. It's being accused of knowing or that LG should have known about the screen bleeding, the random freezes and unexpected shut downs and other defects, and doing nothing about it.

We have to admit LG had that coming from some time. The Optimus 2X users are complaining about the power and screen issues since day one, but LG is still mum on the matter. And that's exactly the problem - LG knows all about the problems and ignores them.

The complaint is individual but on the behalf of other unsatisfied LG P999 G2X users that bought the T-Mobiles USA version of the Optimus 2X for $250.

So, LG is going to court unless it resolves this prior to the trial. But given the fact there are so many angry Optimus 2X users in the USA, we believe LG won't be able to make this complaint go away with a out-of-court settlement for a few thousand bucks. In the end, it's not about that $250 paid for the phone, it's about the LG's failure to recognize and take care of the issues reported by so many users.

I have a g2x and I have no complaints.

Today, I just updated with official GB update.

Those are just lame people who are not satisfied to anything.

You must be one of the lucky ones that dont have any issues, took a peek at the XDA forums. It tells me a different story.

If you read the whines and complaints are very futile. Ultimo pag-update dili makamao. It has been explained also unsay rason nganong magsige restart, it's not a hardware but a software issue.

The only problem sa LG is wala silay klaro kanus-a ang date sa update. If you check other sites and forums, T-Mobile is backing up the complaints when supposed to be they are also part of the problem.

The point is the customers should not be bothered by fixes and workarounds because of the problems that LG should have resolved before selling the phone. At least sa US, pwede nila i uli ang ilang gi palit with a full refund.

Unta. But if you check the lawsuit, it is not for the optimus 2x but for the rebranded T-Mobile g2x. T-Mobile should be sued and not LG.

Here's how it works, LG makes the phone and put an OS on it. It is sent to T-Mobile and T-Mobile edit the OS and other codes so that it will fit to the carriers needs and satisfaction. Then T-Mobile releases the phone. If it has been accepted and released by T-Mobile, the T-Mobile is also liable. Ang nahitabo man nuon is T-Mobile is backing up the class action. FYI, dili na modawat ang T-Mobile ug return nor replacement for this.

Also, when you check out other threads of XDA nga dili ra puro whine sa the same nga mga tawo creating many thread of their problem, daghan kaayo ang satisfied user. It has been in the news also nga gigamit sa phone as life saver when a kid used it to call 911 to save his dying mother. It didn't reboot. It has no issues.

If you check furthermore sa forum, mas daghan kaayo ang pakaaron-ingnon nga kamao and in the end brick their phones.
