Cmos checksum error....help...

AMD FM1 set-up.....gigabyte mobo, triple core processor, ddr3 1600 memory.

Done replacing battery.....lasts for 2-3 months....cmos checksum error is back....replaced battery again...only lasts for several hours after shutting down....then error again....

Any idea what's going on Is the mobo dead? HELP...

why would you think the mobo is dead? it won't boot up?!?!
you wouldn't be seeing that error if it's dead.
get better batteries!

how much was the replacement baterries? if mahalon nga klase chances are it's a grounding issue.. Isolate the case from the mobo by puting masking tape/electrical tape on the standoff then try again.
