Updating/Upgrading XP Error!!! HELP!!

does someone knows how to fix this problem?
I updgraded my xp via it's cd, and when it restarted and install the upgrades it will show an error sign... "fake setup.exe"
I don't know why.... and how to undo the updgrade. since then I cannot log in or even go to my desktop any more 'cause everytime i turn on my computer it'll install the upgrade... and shows the error.
I can't even go to safe mode same error will show...

does someone knows about this problem?? please help... can I surpass the install upgrade and get back to my desktop normally? I can't re-install my xp 'cause I have many important documents and photos in my desktop...
