I agree with the Pope ... the bible says Proverbs 22:15
A youngster's heart is filled with foolishness, but physical discipline will drive it far away.
Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.
Daghan nako ka lalis aning pag desiplina sa bata ... samot naning naas goberno nga bawal jud bunalan ang bata e isolate lang .. ang uban parents dili jud daw maau ... ang uban mamonal pero dili pang disipline but kulata ... etc ...
i disagree with all those both ... pero ug mo quote ko nila ug Bible particulary anang Proverbs .. dili ta pansinon ... but anyway sakto jud ang Bible ...
Rod of Discipline ra diay pag disiplina sa bata ... mao nang stick nga nipis unya maoy ihadlok sa bata piti pud sa sampot ug magpabuyag ... very effective kaau ni ug kita na gani ang bata sa Stick mo behave dayon ... madala na niya sa iyaha pagkabata nga dili magpabuyag tungod sa rod of discipline ... i learn ani sa seminar namo sa Church ....

Agree ko ani. Kay kung modako nga kawatan o buang akong mga anak, ang ginikanan gihapon ang basolon sa katilingban. Not that I agree nga kulatahon ang mga bata but it's the fear to not do it again ang gusto nato ipa rehistro sa ilang alimpatakan.

Perhaps with the right amount ra tingali of discipline; this might work. However, based sa akong experience, I dont really like the idea nga bunalan ang bata coz its not just the fear of the stick that will be registered in the kid's mind - anger too. Back when I was a kid, I always have it in mind - "why is it so easy for them to spank me; than explain to me what mistake I've done and why I mustn't do it again". Kid's may look foolish at most times, but with the right amount of respect and guidance, I guess kids do understand too.

agree. pero sa saktong paagi. mga americano ray nag pa uso anang desciplina nga walay bunal. mao nang mga abusado nang mga bag-ong tubo nila.
as my australian ww2 vet uncle once said..."there is no proper discipline without spanking".

wa gyud koy supak aning pagbunal sa bata...ayaw lang sad tong belt or isud sako..grabe nasad na, lisod na kaayo pasunoron mga bata ron gahi pa nato
