Is it true na dili na kailangan ug UPS if mu buy ko ug branded na PSU which is Silverstone ST50F-ES 500w?

Ni adto mn ko sa gaisano interpace ganiha unya mao ang gi ingon sa technician. Unya wala lang ko sure if tinuod ba kay dili pud kaau ko sweto ug computer hardware. Pwede na pud daw dili mag butang ug AVR direct na daw sa outlet.

Walay AVR or UPS against kilat. Walay gahi na PSU against kilat. Pero if branded imo PSU gahi na maguba usually naa sila over voltage protection or surge protection. No need separate UPS unless you need it in case mag brownout.

Maybe ang PSU maka agwanta sa kilat, pero ang lain components ulbo mode na like LAN ports and Mobo VRMs.

unswa? Kilat? What you need is a surge protector not an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator), w/c obviously UPS do have when lightning strikes. But of course it's another story if ang kilat diha muagi sa imong modem/router drop wires or other peripheral connected to your PC (eg. LAN Cable, etc). But for whatever reason, you really want an AVR, look for Stavol nga brand. But looking at its price, better get an APC 500-650VA UPS.

UPS is their for a reason. Aside from giving you the benefit of having a Surge Protector and at the same time an AVR, it would also give you backup power, enough to save whatever you are working either it be a design or even a simple word document or let us say, you are coding your precious programming project.

There is no such thing as failure proof if you improperly shuts down your PC. Hehehehehe, have you heard of filesystems getting corrupted? Not even a good ReiserFS, ext3/4 filesystem would last sa imong giingon nga adunay built-in protection.. How much more for a very fragile NTFS...

Exaggeration ranang kilat na ma igo sa antenna. Yes ug kilat ang istoryahan surge protector ang gamiton then much cheaper. And about sad aning data corruption, it is not everyday nga mag brownout imong computer nga need jud kag UPS. Pero ug data and time is gold sa imoha then kana pag UPS.

AVR nga tag 300 is a waste of money. Never used avrs at home and in workplace

AVR? no need.. nauso lang ng AVR sa una kay daghan surplus monitor which is 100-110-120VAC

kani nga mga component ang wala sa Generic

heatsink sa branded tambok, sa generic anemic

ang branded naay active PFC or passive PFC, sa generic wala
ang branded nigamit ug known branded capacitor, ang generic chongkoyla capacitor
ang wire harness sa branded nindot ug quality, ang generic anemic
ang marking sa PCB sa branded specified unsa na wattage same sa box, pero sa generic pagtan aw nimo sa PCB ang marka kay 400 pero sa karton 650W..

kung gusto kag AVR, pag UPS with AVR iwas sa mga pansit wire....
