posted on TipidPC. comparing an integrated to a discrete GPU. Kinda angled and biased by my side. Especially coming fom Nvidia. Are they losing the AMD APU's on the low end market? HAHAHA. You can also see no bechmarks used on AMD APU's. Hahaha. I own an AMD APU A10-7850K myself. Mao bsg ako ang biased? What you think mga bro?

That explains a lot you which I think you don't need a high end CPU and it would really depends on the CPU you get on how you use your PC, In fact, some of the sales person encourage you to buy that CPU since it's really good for gaming and it's the FASTEST processor without even knowing how the customer uses his/her PC. As they said "Even a pentium can do the job if you pair it with a decent GPU, GPU is the key to performance" which I believe when it comes to gaming.

And I think it's not biased it's more on educating people who are misled which they think that they hear from most people that you should get that CPU for example cuz it's really fast and it would really do the job. And you know it's an "i7"!!!! WOW!!!

On the AMD side, what's on my mind is, Gamers who get the APU's are the ones who doesn't want to spend or get for a discrete GPU, but they do know instead that the integrated graphics will do the job for their gaming needs, that's it rather than spending cash for a discrete GPU.

based on sa ilang benchmark. sa intel Hd integrated man ilang gi address. dili ang APU. but mo make sense sad kay APU =CPU+IGPU pud baya. but Intel IGPU man naka refer sa Nvidia presentation.

that review is a shot to all igpus. Di lang nila ma pinpoint directly ang APU key di man sila makapildi mao ila nalang gi angin ang intel igpus. And the thought that all desktop packages must have a dedicated gpu is bs. Dili tanang namalit ug package desktops kelangan ug gpu hence some would prefer midrange cpus to high end cpus. Office use, pc for school labs, server pcs etc. Although there are certain parts sa review that does make a point. Particularly the fact that some if not most shops nowadays when it comes to desktop packages, usually unoptimized ila gina offer sa mga customers nila.

Murag gi advertise gyud maayo sa Nvidia to get a low-end discrete GPU. Murag na pilde na sila maayo kay rather mag low-end discrete GPU ang mga tao, mag AMD APU nalang. Hahahaha

My personal RULE OF THUMB with CPU + GPU Pairing
1) If your going to buy a graphics card nga GT rather than GTX series.. buy an APU instead.
2) If your going to buy an APU, dont buy a GPU
3) If you can afford a GPU higher than a GTX *60 (760, 660, and up) get an Intel Core i3 or higher

Usefull ang article for people who don't really benchmark performance and have no Idea about bottlenecking. What is obvious to us may be unknown to them..

and oh c'mon... we all know "Desktop Packages" is para lang malabay ang mga old stocks.. HIHI.. #shotsfired !

sa mga peeps na basic computation lang gamit... bisan intel iGPU will do the job... bisan pa HTPC na... kun sagolan ug gamay na gaming, then no discrete GPU, AMD all the way (for now)... pero, kun i-plug in ang price, AMD APU + higher speed ram modules (2133 MHz would be nice for Kaveri... 2400 MHz would be better) vs intel CPU (Celeron or Pentium) + discrete GPU (1333 MHz or 1600 MHz ram modules will do) rub elbows to elbows... mag depende na's lugar asa paliton... give & take na sila...

ang budget lang agdon... and as what bro LK had pointed out, kun mag APU man gani... ayaw na pag discrete GPU... gasto2x lang kun mag puno'g discrete GPU... kun ganahan mag AMD then parisan ug discrete GPU, pag FX or Athlon II X4 CPU ang palita...

please state your budget bro para matabangan ka... better man naa'y budget para ma tailor ang set-up sa imohang budget... then. state pud ang planned apps & games para mas nice ang configuration nimo for your intended use & budget...
