Arrow Play High End Games with Low End PC

    Guys,
I just recently found out about the Onlive Cloud Gaming Service. Basically, the technology lets you stream and play games. Since the processes does not take place in your PC, you don't need high end specs to play heavy games like Assassin's creed.. Just imagine remote desktop with a gaming machine...

All you need is fast internet connection, PC, or you can even buy an Onlive gaming Console for only $99 with a free game..
The technology is already in the U.S. and is currently being applied in Singapore.
    Any thoughts?

This is actually good if your in a country with ultra low latency and high bandwidth internet say something like 8ms response time and about 25-30mb/s

I agree. This is the future of gaming. and this also solves the problem with piracy. since everything is online, it is going to be very difficult to pirate.

If this will popularize, the computer hardware industry will be in great trouble as well particularly the gpu industry.

I dont see any industry to be affected with this. This is just a choice for those who dont want to spend money and time on maintaining a PC/Gaming RIG. Consoles games perhaps but for PC gaming this wont replace anything at all, I dare say not in the next 15-25yrs.
