    Default Toshiba RMA / Repair - Undetectable


    Kinsay khbaw mo Repair / RMA ug hard drive, dle nmn gud ma detect sa akong pc, ug sa ubang pc.

    Nag tan-aw ra kog lima ka salida, pag ugma dle na ma detect ang hard drive.

    ^ with warranty pa na bro? try dala sa imohang gipalitan then patabang nila... or else, ad2 sa site sa Toshiba then ask for the RMA details...

    @lloyd_joy ahmm, aintsick mani nku napalit, XD iya rako gi refer nilang ataka05, infoseeker, ug ni jadetorres (Dle siya mo support ug Toshiba, XD).

    Akong gi check ang warranty ani sa Hitachi mo ana man nga, "Please return drive to the point of purchase or system manufacturer." murag gikan ni sa computer set. Adto kos Toshiba nga site patawagon man daw sa ilang support para makuha ug RMA. Nyohohohoh.

    ah i see... balik gyud kun asa nato gi palit. the same ni sa akoang MSI R9 270x Hawk. ang akoang mga HW, gi register man ni nko sila tanan sa website. then sa pag ask nko for warranty requirement from MSI, ilaha ko'ng gi sulti-an na dili sila mo dawat ug international warranty claim kay gi palit nko ang item diri sa main land China then ang address nako kay dha man sa Cebu. ingon ko nila na base man ko diri's Shanghai. current location nko is here in Shanghai. tubag sila na ibalik kun asa nko gi palit ang GPU. so, contact ko's JD mall, then nag ask sila sa transaction details then gi pa ship nila ang item towards their service depot. it took exactly 11 days from the day that i shipped out the unit until i received it back from JD mall. wla man nila ma fix ang problem so, gi hatagan ko nila'g bnew replacement 270x Hawk...

    learning nako sa ani na experience, sa mga item na dali ra mo hagtos due to constant use, it would be better na anha ta palit kun asa ta ma locate para dali ra ang pag claim sa warranty (if w/in the warranty period pa)... igo ra ta dala sa item and most likely, w/ the original receipt sa shop kun asa nato na gipalit ang item...

    about sa case nimo, ask ta sa feedback sa uban pud nato'ng mga kakusa diri sa buhat labi na sa naka suway'g claim ug warranty sa HDD... labi na kun naa'y naka experience sa pag claim ug warranty sa Toshiba HDDs... ganahan pud ko maka hibaw kay tanan nako new HDD ron (2.5" * 3.5") kay puro ni sila Toshiba... this HDD brand is my preferred choice... why? here's the reason, ubos ni sila'g return compared sa uban brands as what was disclosed by the 3rd party company. nag post ko sa link sa actual data sa ato na 3rd party company before diri on one of the discussion thread...

    if buy hdd from a computer store, there should be 1 year warranty...if the bought item is still under warranty or still in a 1year from the date of purchase, you must go to the store where you bought it and have them warranty...they'll accept your def item and have them RMA to their supplier. the store will advise you when to claim your returned item if the supplier fixed. But if not their supplier must change a new item same item as you purchase before.

    @lloyd_joy I did research man, on what brand to choose in-terms of lifespan. I just never thought nga RMA ani dle ana ka sayun XD, kay base on his post man kay, (insert) so sad. HAHAHA!     may this situation is an eye opener to everyone , that an item you've must accompanied with warranty, and receipt, and not just a verbal agreement.
