anyone have experience on this drives? this is what you get back when you RMA a harddrive.

RECERTIFIED hardrives have almost zero return rates than Brand new ones....since its problems have been pinpointed and replaced.

bad luck maybe.Recertified hdrives went on a more abused environment and the parts that failed were replaced and the the drives were carefully assesed once more for quality check before releasing...

let me say..a more improved and reliable drives but we all know the fact that all electronics will eventually fail,its just a matter of when, and how we take actions to avoid it...could spell the difference.... Originally Posted by AMD_infinium05

no required action(s) to avoid such alof of possible failures.
you fix something on the drive because of a previous problem, now here comes a new one..
the only thing that is required is to backup important data. no such thing can be done to avoid failures, but to secure.
Hope to hear from other users who already have received "CERTIFIED REPAIRED HDD"...
