Reasons/Advantages/Disadvantages on buying a Macbook, can anyone give me your opinion?

Hi guys,

Id like to ask for your opinion on the advantages/disadvantage on especially mac users who are programmers/ non gamers/ designers for your reasons on using a macbook. ask ko ani kay ganhan ko muswitch gd from an Ultrabook/ PC kay naniguwang naman gd ko d na au ko nahan muduwa jd. mostly nahan ko pangwork or daily use na lng sya. Can you give me your opinions guys? salamat sa mangreply!

if you want to shift to the macbook then go ahead. Nakapalit na gani kag ultrabook so i think makaya nimo ang budget for a macbook. Everyday use? Meaning internet browsing, productivity suites, long use but light applications. Fit kaayo ang macbook if you work outside og di ka ganahan sige charge. Design? See for yourself, maybe visit an istore, kay everyone of us has his own preference when it comes to design and use. No need for arguments on what other advantages/disadvantages of one over the other because in the end, ikaw may mogamit og ikaw ray makasulti what the real differences are.

Sa imong purpose of usage na dile na kaayo maggaming, like me, sa ako opinion, advantages sa macbook are una: you have the choice of the retina display model, which is taas ang resolution na dile na nimo makita ang pixel and color calibrated na ni sya. 2nd, ang OS and safari kay mas secured (from viruses&malwares) and more power efficient which would be great for mobile use. Also, for me, mas user friendly and more organized in sorting files. Tapos, ang features pud na mas integrated like ako mga imessages sa ako iphones and my computer are insync. Mas daghan pa actualy na features pero many to mention na. Lastly, sleek design-clean, elegant and straightforward look.

Disadvantage lang guro para nako kay ang costly price vs. performance But i think you already know this.

have not tried mac sa ako school days sa una while i'm studying computer programming. windows based man puro gamit namo sa programming but maybe naa ray gamay kalainan sa commmands or sa syntax labi na pag execute. hulat lang ta sa mga programmers diri nga nakagamit og mac. wa ko maibog sa mac gud kay kon way lingaw mag offline games ra man ko og di na mahatag nga satisfaction sa mac if i use it for gaming. wa pud koy pangpalit og mac.hehehe. kasuway lang gyud ko gamit for some time.

Wai blema bai. Ang retina display man gud mas taas ang resolution. 1440p i think, more than the common 720p or 1080p. Ang text or font, imo tan.awon closely dile na nimo makita ang pixel, really important when reading text for me.

About file search, naay gitawag na Spotlight search. It intelligently finds the file you want and its more personal and instantaneous. Personal kay it knows what you mean most of the time, instantaneous kay walay "file searching" and wait for couple of minutes to scan ur hard drive to look for file or related file. Also, dile lang file name or extension ibase ang search. Lets say imo isearch kay contact no. Ni Juan pero imo ni sya gitype sa Resume.doc na filename na document, isearch lang nimo pangalan ni juan, makita ang filename na Resume.

For programming, dile ko swito ana. Xenxa na, lets hope naay mureply na programmer nakasuway ani na method with Mac.

Since for work and daily use imo gamit bai, i will go for your switch to a macbook. Secured and reliable.

I'm a programmer and been using Macbooks for 4 years now. Ideal man gyud xa for programmers/designers bai in my opinion. Para nako its simplicity and elegance moy naka capture sa ako heart. Hahaha. And it will continue to have my heart samot na this coming fall with this OS update for free Apple - OS*X Yosemite - Overview

Anyways, if you're in a tight budget to get the retina type sa Macbook I'm selling my 2011 15" Macbook Pro unit.
