    Default File Archivers


    hi, what's the latest active mature and stable file archiving utilities today? that would not liking to fail or corrupt files. like WinZip or WinRAR =)

    WinRAR is the only tool you need.

    Try PowerArchiver... it could archive your files to almost any compression format including the Windows .CAB files.

    Dropped by WinZip, pwerteng mahala na! WinZip is already $29.95 while the pro edition is 49.95. PkZip (from the guys who created the .zip archive format) is 29.00.

    If you don't want to waste good money, go either for ZipGenius or 7-zip. I use the latter because it has a 64 bit version for my Windows x64.
