Haswell and Z97. Is it worth it?

I had this question for quiet a while and it makes me doubtful if i am going to engage it or not. I am currently using i7-3770 3rd gen and asus p8h77-m le. Since i7 haswell just released and Z97 chipset as well it makes me think to upgrade, but i'm not sure if it's really worth it? i am encouraged of the first haswell released z87 chipet, but i am more encouraged with the new Z97 chipset, it's really an advantage for haswell cpu i might say because of its new feature as well as it would support 5th gen broadwell and there is the SataExpress which i know it would be useful in the future. i am into fps gaming haven't tried overclocking yet but i wanna experience it so my plan would be getting the i7 "K" haswell and the Z97 but i'm not so sure if i would get it or not or ending with a regret. what i am also after is z97 has very sexy looks compared to my current board right now, what i am looking right now is the asus maximus vii gene or msi z97m gaming and i7-4770k.i know that there is an improvement of the performance, but i don't know how to decide if it's really worth it? what made me always think is that i am always behind of the technology lol. technology is always evolving, or maybe because upgraditis is just killing me. or should i wait for the new technology to be released since what i'm using is still not behind? your suggestions and recommendations would help so much

bro, the answer to your question is: you will surely (100%) regret it getting 4770K. because HaswellRefreshh (devil's canyon) is coming, in several months from now. better wait for the new haswell, better Thermal materials, higher clock speeds, etc. Dili jud worth kung ang imung 4770K kay mu obsolete dayun just two?months after you bought it.

Never heard about Haswell Refreshh (devil's canyon). Thanks 4 the information bro. I did a research, there will be a new release "Intel Core i7-4790K". I know this one is worth it, maybe i should considering upgrade once this one is released but i am not so sure, since i still have my 3rd gen it's hard for me to let go.

mao na sya ang pang match sa intel sa newly released series-9 chipset nila bro. kay next year pa man ang broadwell, then lain man kaayu nga nag release sila ug new chipset nga walay new processor line-up, so haswell-refresh usa. anyway, this would be an improvement jud compare sa haswell karon. Hold usa oi.. IMO pila rman differences gud sa Ivy i7 compared to Hasswell refresh i7.. unless need nimo ang g.offer sa new chipset then ok to upgrade, but if single HDD single Card configuration lang ka, I think its useless to upgrade..

Broadwell is 1150 pa ba ghapon? or new socket? kay if new socket kay magwait q sa skylake/skymount wahehehehe...

Budget is not an issue na ibog lang jd guro ko sa bag-ong release hehe, i know that my rig still rocks and i am satisfied playing around 70-100fps in battlefield 4 and any other fps games hehe. Bro lloyd i have a mantle option na sa bf4 sa settings pag update nako sa origin, from direct x it's like 70-80 fps. .pag mantle nako it goes to 90-100fps. .dako gyud og increase sa performance.

Yes bro broadwell is a 5th gen cpu i think and it is still lga1150, z97 chipset offers a support to 5th gen cpu but will be released next year. excited pod ko sa 800 series sa nvidia hehe.
