Hi, first id like to make it clear that i am speaking from my experience and my opinion. i do not intend to offend others which my think otherwise.
Here's my story, my bro got the plan from sun which gives him a free
Alcatel Soleil,The unit after 2 months for no apparent reason just wouldnt make a sound anymore. We had it checked sa sm, and they said na they will honor the warranty and have it repaired. A month after we left the unit in alcatel they still didnt have the parts to do the repair, and said "sir ang nag pa repair 5months ago krn pa na abot ang parts para sa ila phone". so hearing that. my bro decided to get his phone nlng and just settle with not having sounds.
Cherry Moblile Flare, 3999 pesos.1 yr and 1month after its purchased from sm,and still for no apparent reason, it just suddenly wont power on. unfortunately we cant have our phone repaired sa shop sa sm who sells cherry mobile phones, we need to go all the way to qc pavillon in gorordo. I had my phone diagnosed for a fee of 650php. they said na usually pag dle mo on, BOARD ang problem. When i heard that, i was thinking "patay pag board usually mahal jud na" and i was right. they said that the board would cost around 70% of the total cost of the phone. so just to be sure, bacn diay power problem lang, i left my phone sa ila.
A week later i txted them, follow up q sa status sa akong flare. and they replied "sir padala sa manila 2mos pa dn ingon ang tech posible board daw to sir"
I just cant understand why i need to wait 2months just for a diagnosis. Sa mga naay experience sa pag pa repair ug phone can u tell me if it really takes that long? and back to my thread title, is it worth it. i think not.
anways i just want to share my experience with these brands and honestly im very disappointed and frustrated sa after sales service nila. i will never consider buying brands from these 2, and from other wa-il na brands.
