How to stress your GPU for Newbies

Nobe question fellow istoryans, unsaon diay na pag stress sa GPU sir then why man xa need e stress? Gusto lang ko makamao gud mga ka fellow istoryans. Thanks.. Any input will be much appreciated.

^ you can use "Furmark" or "MSI Kombustor"... ang purpose ana bro kay pag check sa stability after manually OC'ed the GPU... or, kun ganahan lang ka mag burn-in nya para to screen out any "lemon" product ug dali ra pag claim sa warranty. gi burn-in mana sila sa manufacturer nila but just a quick on... for early mortality rates... sa binisaya pa, sa pag screen-out sa mga potential "walking wounded" units na dali mo mo hagtos.

personally, ako once mag palit ko'g GPU, akoa nang i burn-in (even on stock speed) using MSI Kombustor for 168 hrs (1 week straight). para pud ma condition sya (ang whole system) sa iyahang upcoming use... then kun mag OC pud ko, akoa pud na i burn-in... usually, 24 hrs lang na padagan pud...

Game stressor lang ha basin nangita ka, Battlefield 4 boss, grabe mu stress ug Video Card ug System Unit...

^ nope, BF4 is not a game stressor bro... Metro Last Light and Crysis 3 are...

BF3 & BF4 are GPU dependent... using my i3-2120 w/ HD 7770 GHz Ed CrossfireX in playing both FPS games... on multi-player onlinen(64 players max), GPU load is running @ full load (100%) but, the CPU is only running below 85%... but on Crysis 3, GPU and GPU are at full load on multi-player... haven't played Metro Last Light tough kay wala ko ani na game...

Me, i dont burn in.. tapolan q.. What I do when I get a new GPU is:
1) Install Furmark
2) install MSI Afterburner
3) Install Coretemp or any temperature sensing software
4) Run Coretemp to measure case and prcessor temperature
5) Run Furmark Burn in 15 mins katong 1080P or whatever size sa imo monitor
5) check max temp of GPU , CPU and CASE.. if the temps are good then I dont fuss about it

sometimes I Overclock the card and the GPU, set the Case fans to LOW to check worst case scenarios with my case..

^ dili ra maguba ang GPU ug burn-in bro... kalas lang ni's kuryente... hehehehe... mao ra gyud ni'y problema sa GPU stressing labi na mag gamit ug "Furmark"...

bisan gani mag OC ta'g GPU karon, no sweat ra kaayo kay kun ma over sa allowable threshold level nya (mo lapas sa cut-off), mo down clock sya back to stock setting... safe ra gyud kaayo... unlike before during the yesteryear nakun ma subrahan, aw, bugha ang GPU..

ok ra pud ni kay kun ang atoang na receive na GPU kay "lemon" unit, dali ra kaayo pag claim sa warranty... kay mo fail man gyud na sya kun 168 hrs (1 week straight) ang burn-in... ang purpose ani kay for early mortality rates or early failures... dali ra kaayo pag claim sa warranty sa shop kun asa nato napalit kay, less than a month pa gyud gani... naa pa ang receipt... lisod kaayo ug claim for a store warranty kun wla na ang receipt pud dba? anyhow, mahal man gyud kaayo ang kuryente diri's atoa sa Pinas maong, dili advisable ang mag burn-in ug 1 week straight using, Furmark...

sa OC'ing, gamit ni sya bisan 15 mins lang kay mo likoy man ang resulta... mo unstable ang display, mo gawas ang artifacts or, mo taas ang GPU temp... gamit kaayo ang MSI Afterburner and Kombutor sa ani na job... and the other equivalent software too...
