    Question Inquiry on USB 3 Flash Drive as an OS drive


    Peeps,

    kinsa naka try ninyo ani nya diri USB 3.0 converter? then gamitan ug USB 3.0 flash drive (64 GB) and use it as an OS drive... nice i-try ani kay wla man nko gigamit ang USB 3.0 header sa mobo aning gaming rig... hhhmmmm... thinking2x... alternative sa SSD na "no-mech" movement involved on the OS drive... ngita ta'g barato na USB 3.0 flash drive beh... hehehe...

    or nice pud ni pang scratch drive sya...

    wala pako katry anang converter boss pero katry nakog usb OS

    nindot kaayo ang usb OS kay paspas pero dili mansad ka bastabasta mka install og program

    bisan asa computer saksakan ra naku sakong usb, compiter na dayon naku hehee

    ah i see... ang akoang USB OS diri kay FreeNAS ra man ug ang Puredyne Linux OS... haven't tried to use Win 7 kay wla pa man ko maka palit ug 64 GB flash drive and sa anang converter...

    heheehehe.. wa pa man guro dri USB flash drive nga 3.0 gawas sa cd-r king huh.. so far mao pa ako nakit-an.. ambot lang kaha sa uban, nway pila man ang USB 3.0 flash drive nga 64GB? .. nya gasto pa ka ug converter.. nway naka-try ko sauna but dli windows 7, windows XP ako gamit.. ^_^

    ^ 64 GB flash drive USB 3.0 priced @ 1.5K then ang kaning converter kay 288 php... around 1.8K php equivalent ang ma damage...

    but, dili ko ganahan sa akoang nakit-an nga mga 64 GB flash disk kay tag-as ug lawas... ngita ko'g pareho sa gamit nko sa FreeNAS nko na Sandisk Cruzer Fit na gamay lang ang body nya... 32 GB ra ang max sa cruzer fit na akoang na kit-an then USB 2.0 ra pud sya... wla pa ko naka kita ug 64 GB & USB 3 for the cruzer fit drive...

    murag bug-at raman windows OS para sa usb flash disk, unless trim-downed version siguro, hinay man ug random access ang usb flash drives.

    ^ mao pud... nice lang siguro ni sya for a scratch disk... if ma realize ni na plan nko, suwayan ko ni kun ok ra ba for OS or, for scratch disk lang sya gyud... ok ra man siguro ning 32 GB size for scratch disk noh? pang Adobe CS...

    kusog pa man siguro 5400 rpm na ide para ana na use tingali boss.. hahaha.
