dairyman, quick reply and child boards are built-in features of smf...

to show quick reply by default:

go to admin > Current Theme's Settings > Change the default member specific options (under Theme Options and Preferences) > Use quick reply on topic display: (change to show, on by default) > go back to Current Theme's Setting and click on "Reset member specific options for all members."

to create a child board simply select "Child of" at the Order option when you create a new board.

sorry sir, got it... medyo nag error man akoa sa permissions but fixed with ".htaccess" (mod-security)..
