does anyone here donates their resources on the folding @ home services? kun naa, unsa ang GPU na gigamit ninyo? my GT 640 is about 55% faster compared to my G530 (its CPU) in processing a given task... given man pud gud ni na mas powerful ang GPU in crunching large chunks of data in this field... sa write up sa site pud, if pas2x ang CPU, maka tabang gyud ni sya pud...

kinsa'y naa'y first hand experience between HD7750 or HD 7770 sa ani na application? ok ra ni na GPUs kay gamay kaon ug kuryente for 24/7 operation for FAH...

lingaw ra ko padagan ani nya kay para in a way or another... even how small it is, maka tabang ta's medicine research... mao ni ang reason, nganong ang akoang entertainment rig is running 24/7 (even if wla sya mag download through torrent) basta naa lang ko diri sa shanghai...

by the way, got a 9,756 PPD for my entertainment rig in folding... it is not much but, it still can help...

Naka testing ko boss 570 Sli, hapit ko palaysa sa akong misis kay +2k ang kuryente. Might look into new generation quad fire AMDs kana mga 70 watt GPUs. Mas gamay pa cguro kaon bisan sa usa ka 570 lang lol.

^ hahahaha... atots ananng hapit palayasa bro oi... na lingaw ko nag basa sa ana na comment... hehehe... mahal man lagi kaayo ang kuryente sa atoa then "power sucker" pa gyud ang GPUs nmo in SLI... kumbate ang mga GT 630, 640 and GTX 650 aning folding... sa AMD ud, ang HD 7730, 7750 and 7770... ug ang previous gens sa Nvidia & AMD na dili kaayo power suckers...

If dili lang kaayo mahal mo contribute jud ko sa human race, pero grabeh diri pinas. Dapat mag butang ta og nuclear power plant. Daghan cge protesta health2x daw, as if healthy ni atong country. Tabla ra ni sa mag bike2x for health purposes kuno then mag patunga sa dalan, if ma timingan og addict na driver yataps gihapon.

yeah, mao gyud na ang reason... mahal kaayo ang kuryente sa Pinas... nice baya unta ni na advocacy unta pra sa gaming community sa Pinas as a whole kay uber nice kaayo mga ang set-up...

Apil2x sad ko aning folding2x sauna hehehe kay akong mga kakosa sa PC modders sauna (mostly europeans) gipa apil gyud ko back in the days nga libre pa akong kuryente kay apil sa company contract nako, pero karon murag pass lang sa kay grabe muka-on ug power ang PC nga designed for folding murag mahimo ug plantsa ang videocard inig load na hehehe...

^ nice bro... at least, in our time, naka contribute ta's medical research in our own little way... wala lang ta nag gamit sa kuryente in feeding our urge to play the most awesome game graphics but we also gave our share for the benefit of humankind... charring... hehehehe... Grats!...

here's for the gaming rig... CPU: SB i3-2120...







and here's for the mini-ITX... CPU: SB Pentium G840... ning drop ang PPD from 14+K to this after the rig received a new WU (7660) for the GPU...







FAH showed the power of the GPU in scientific calculation... pwerte ra gyu'ng layo-a sa CPU... hehehe...

any AMD GPU users na nag gamit ani'ng FAH? pwede mo maka share sa PPD ninyo? i'm planning to change the GPU of my entertainment rig para magamit sa FAH on a 24/7 operation. i'll change the GT 640 ug mas pas2x... para naa ko'y ma benchmark-kan... my choices would be from HD7770 (min) to HD 7950 (max) on AMD's route... then GTX 660 Ti and GTX 760 for Nvidia's route... for Nvidia, naa man ko'g idea kay puro man ni Nvidia akoang GPU na gipangamit... ang sa AMD lang gyud ang akoang gustong mahibaw-an...

by the way, had folded 10 WU and gathered 51,788 points as of this writing... there will be "no games" that will be installed on the entertainment rig... work (mathematical/scientific) computation will only be for "Folding" @ 24/7...
