Default Idle? Do Folding@Home with your hardware!

Anybody contributing to Folding@Home project (aka F@H)?

    Folding@home - Main

sometimes we buy exotic hardwares and dont know what to do with it after a while....

so why no get involve in this very huge scientific study at Stanford and share your CPU or GPU power.. it only use a tiny portion of internet bandwidth..

it can be used also for stress testing your hardware.. my cheap 8600 got 90 deg just doing a folding task.

im saddened to see na wala gyuy posts ug less views ani nga thread. pero folding has got to be the best things to do while our computers are idle. only if mo-care ang mga tawo diri to help on medical terms via sparing their computers while its idle. i have friends that own a ps3 and they do alot of folding today since last year.

i hope magka-folding team ang istorya pud. and guess what, it will just be a dream.

My concerns are my power bills.

Its good to help the analysis of protein folding but for me this software will end up bragging each other for the highest points.

it says "when your computer is idle" not "when your computer is turned off". also, people should start sacrificing a part of themselves for something beneficial for all of us(im not bragging people to permanently turn on their computers just for folding even though its not used).

and what? bragging for highest points? HELL NO. tell me exactly your perceptions about folding. a MMORPG?
