well i did a month ago...but i had to add security as some malicious individual wrecked havoc on my system a few weeks back im still cleaning up the mess right now...

if someone here knows how to configure a separate password for istorya.net users that only gives users internet access but restrict access to my other systems...id be willing to open it up again

Mark, you can restrict the wifi users to known MAC address only. let all istoryans give them their MAC address of their devices so you can set it up on your wifi router. It's much safer than a password based since it will only accepts the devices w/ their MAC address you set up.
