Default Dragged in to Start an Internet Cafe

    Hello istoryans,

I'd humbly want to ask for people's advice and whatnot on this whole internet cafe business that my family is planning to start. (My mom was the one who got invested into this idea) They practically started construction without me knowing about it.

Anyhow, first and foremost these are some details of my mom's 'plan' for an internet cafe:
    - Start with a few units, about 5 or so
    - Have Console Games (1 PS3 for now)
    - Not Piso-Piso Machines
    - Offer Other Services (eLoad, Printing Services, Graphic Design, Web Design, the whole graphics and programmer freelance work enchilada)

    Some things to consider:
    - In our area, computers are scarce, and the nearest internet cafes / piso-piso machines are a ride down.
    - There are lots of student residents in this area, but even the internet cafes and piso-piso machines at the nearest other internet cafes do not have printers or such services
    - The planned cafe is next to a store we own as well, so customers that get hungry can buy food and refreshments there.
    - Every weekend busloads of students arrive here in our area as part of their CWTS exercises.
    - I am a Freelance Graphic Artist and Programmer and my family wants to extend my freelance work as services for the business as I manage the Internet Cafe as well.

To be honest, despite the things to consider, I'm really quite doubtful of it, so I'm really trying to see how I can make this work @_@ just because the people who planned it are really invested into it.

Please guide this young mind my fellow istoryans

    *kneels and bows*

    Please and Thank You

Sa imo gi point out na considerations T.S. i think naa potential na mbalik dayn inyo ROI because kamo pa ga una diha, internet cafes are good if kamo la ang nag una same like other businesses but once naa competitor mo sud medyo mangita naka discarte to lure in your customers kay if not decrease gyud imo sales or ma apsan ka sa competitor nimo.Sa ako lang Go lng sa plan, you are lucky kay gi supportaan ka sa imo family financially and emotionally.

    Thanks for the replies.

What games are usually played by kids nowadays?
I was thinking of asking here before I'd go scout and survey.
