include ICAC sa imong budget kay dili ka kakuha ug mayors permit without ICAC. ICAC is 3k one time payment membership (non refundable, non consumable) plus 500 pesos annually. Buy PC sa PC Express, infront sa SM kay barato kaayo ang mga PC's plus they have good service. Sa ICAC nalang palit ug softwares aron kaganansiya pud sila

If you're planning a more than 20-pc icafe, others are doing the dual provider w/ globe and pldt. There's an available dual router that can accomodate both providers.

Para kon ma dc ka sa usa ka prov., padayon lng gihapon imo internet, except if ma dc ka sa both provider.

OS softwares, normally and legally, inig palit nimo sa pc, dala na jud na ang licensed OS software. But you still have the option to buy anywhere, as long as such OS is valid for philippine use.

ICAC? it is only required to be a member of our org., if your icafe will be in the city of cebu, if not, it's your choice to be or not to be a member.

You may call ICAC office and book for a scheduled seminar for more knowledge regarding internet cafe industry. The seminar is free, and after such, you have the choice to join or not.
If you're in cebu city. you have to be a member of ny icafe assocaition/organization. There are many choices, join ICAC for a fee, join PNGA for free, but you have to buy a licensed game from them and inquire if they are now sec registered, find another legitimate association, or you may create your own association. It's your choice.

ICAC is not selling anything. You may avail of some free softwares if you're a member. But the best OS for icafe use for now, is still that of microsoft, especially if go for online games.

during or after the seminar, you may ask ICAC if they can get special discount in the purchase of PCs from certain suppliers, including PC express.

As an ICAC member, i was able to avail of a special discount from pc express before. I just dont know now. you may ask the officers, if you want.

If you have not bought the necessary things for icafe operation, i strongly suggest to make a thorough study, most especially in your planned / selected location.

Icafe nowadays is not as profitable / lucrative as before. But if you're in a better location, you will survive. The rest depend upon how you managed it.

    Well, good luck . . .

How to be a member of ICAC? Oh my, easy. Go to their office somewhere in TESDA. The attend ka sa seminar. I dont know whats the use of that seminar kay murag way klaro man ang guy who conduct a seminar (just like what happened sa ako friend). Tapos bayad ka ug 3,000 in cold cash/check but they prefer cash kay alamz na. Also the 500 annually if you stayed that long. You actually have no other option that to be a member of that association (ICAC) if you are in cebu city kay city ordinance na. I dont know why this ICAC became part of the city ordinance nga private mani siya. Basta ana nalang, call daw ICAC ingon ni ICAC_MEMBER. Sa ICAC nalang palit ug OS so they can gain profit again from you.

ICAC is not selling anything . . .

it has been held and has been posted earlier, but you really have your own ways . . .

But since it's your way (refusing to understand), then please bear with him/her.

We're trying to help a guy here, reserve your accusation and post it adto sa naandan. sa atong favorite thread.

To all icafe operators, you may check all the postings under the subject "ICAC-Anyone?"

as to the 500 annual fee as what iloveu4ever said, it is not a requirement in your 1st year as a member.

as to the seminar, it is very useful if you're open minded, and it's free . . .]

and sorry to say that ICAC office is no longer in TESDA, it is somewhere in private, near USC-GHS. kalimot ko sa exact address kay bag o pa cla namalhin, and so with the tel no. sorry, mag inquire pako sa mga officers.

    anyway, gud luck . . .

Look for NetAccess (i think that's the name of the Cafe) It's in Cogal Building just a few meters from the USC-GHS gate.
