internet connection problem

bro i have a problem regarding my network i have 6 clients i am using dsl modem, linksys 4 ports router then a 16 port cnet switch.. now my problem is naka connect man sila tanan sa internet but most of the time mag sige lang ug ka ds connect so akong buhaton mag unplug nsad sa mag devices such as modem,router and switch then mo okie nsad ang connection then later mo disconnect nasd kapoy kaau maka lagot... any idea what when wrong? please help mga bro ... thanks in advance.. more power...

try to check with your ISP how your are being authenticated? is it using PPPoE kay murag naa na siya setting nga always make connection online basta something like that, if possible try to give daw ur router model then imo model sa modem

im using pldt dsl 769 kbps.. okie raman iyang speed but the problem is always gyud siya mo dsconnect and i think walay problema sa akong line sa dsl ky if the error occured ako ra e unplug ang supply sa router then turn it back nya mo balik nsad i wonder y ingani siya myb guba ni akong router or myb sa configurations? please help... thanks again mga pipol..

yup try to get the model number of your router
try to get also the model of your modem
then if ma ask nimo sa imo ISP kung naka bridge mode naba imo modem
try to check how you are authenticated, like if you are authenticated with a username and password or other ways

unsay plan nimo... plan 900+ sa pldt or globe? cuz the plan 900+ for home use but pwede raman office use. mao lagi sige ka putol-putol (not all the time). mao sad akong gibuhat sa mga SOHO clients nako aron cheap ang monthly bill.

dli man sad daw bro ky n tawag ko sa customer assistant and they said okie ra daw ang line nko try lang daw nko unplug tanan then same process balik tanan plug nya e check daw balik but the problem is still there.. now akong buhaton mag cge nlng kog save sa settings sa router then after 5 seconds ma okie nsad heheheh mas maau nlng ni ky murag dli nkay kapoy but still im longging for the proper and exact settings of this problem ... thanks to all !!!! hope mr. expert can teach me how... happy viewing more power!!

most dsl connection man gud u are authenticated with a username and password and it is usually in the modem however if you use another router most dsl modems are modem/router so another router in the network will cause conflict so you have to set it to PPPoE. pero try to check kay pwede man sad nga dili PPPoE para at least you have more protection sa imo network
