Netbook N2800 vs Notebook i3

So I'm planning to buy a laptop for my son. Freshman na mga bro. Sige man ug pagabii sa internet cafe near his dorm just to make his projects/paper. Budget is not more than P20k. I noticed that the netbook is just a few thousand pesos cheaper than a laptop with i3 processor! Which one should I buy? Suggestions, comments please.

Netbook should suffice for his needs and for the the given budget. Ang i3 murag naa na sa 25k pataas... You may also consider AMD APU E-350/E-450 series kay a little more powerful ni siya than Atom based netbooks.

Would also suggest kanang mga 11.6" type kay gamay kaayo ang 10.1" netbooks para pang project works...

ang core i3 nga notebook nindot na cya for school use and a little gaming.
depende ra man cguro ni sa imong budget TS

pro: ready na if ever mogamit siya bug at nga programs for school
cons: mao sad lagi kay matintal gyud ta install og mga games... huhu

if mag netbook ka boss mo adto ghapon na og computeran para mo dowa og dota so i3 notebook nalang boss atleast naa ra sha sa dorm so safe imo anak.

I saw an ad here sa istorya, P20k nalang iyang i3 processor na laptop but I think a year ago pa iyang unit. But N2800 Kay bag-o sad jud sya na model sir no? Mao na I wanted to compare them pud sa performance. Thanks kaau bro, helpful imong input.

Wow, kuha pud ni yo akong concern as a parent. You guys must be parents yourselves. Hahaha sakto mo, whether netbook ra Ang among I-provide, mangita jud sya ug pa-ago para maka-play. So I think mu-settle Lang Ko sa i3. The one I'm eyeing is an old model though, that's why it's cheap at P20k. The netbook2800 however is only P17k and is a newer model.

Haha Pareho jud Ta ug dilemma but good thing na the dorm he's living in has very slow Internet connection to discourage them from downloading games, movie streaming, etc. maka fb himuon and maybe some tetris hehe
