Thread: Music Heals

    Default Music Heals

This is one of those useless topics you see in every forum.

I currently have TWO BIG PROBLEMS. One involving my love life (NGEK), and the other involving work, and no, the problems are not related at all. Two completely different, separate problems.

To make a long story short, I've always believed that music heals-- even when you're in your darkest hours. Just choose the appropriate material/records to listen to, and you're on your way. Personally, I'm listening to Bamboo's LightPeaceLove to cope with this mess (not again). hehe.

In the end, it further strengthens my relationship with music. I love this stuff.

    Got any similar experiences?

yep! music really heals... in any problems i can always find its respective music. specially when i listen those christian rock, christian contemporary or reggae. especially reggae, it has a different beat and rhythm that can really lift you up from your problems.

There are also times when you choose the wrong song for the wrong problem.. like hearing "Hindi ko kakayanin kung ikay mawawala sa aking piling.." when you've just broken up with your girlfriend. Mag-awas2x gyud ang imong luha bisag unsa pa na kabisdak ang kanta. haha

the title of this thread is indeed a truth. it's not pointless nor nonsensical. i guess only a few people understand the concept of catharsis but lucky are those who can understand it. there's this feeling of being renewed or refreshed after listening to beautiful sound waves, waves that send shivers to your spine or sets you in a good mood. music does heal...
