I like old school music, specifically old school rock, better than new school music. The ages of Motley Crue, Fates Warning, Extreme, Queensryche, Dream Theater, etc....Those times, when you're going to form a band, you have to master the instrument that you're going to play. Example, if you're the lead guitar player, you have to know how to play lead guitar.

...........for god's sake!!! they are not the same!!! can't you hear the truth, music today sucks, the compositions are boring. compare linkin parks song to metallica's "sad but true", do they have the same quality?? NO!!! Does linkin park have incredible guitar solos nor cool drum lines?? NO!!! so please people don't ever say that they are the same..........way back when i'm still learning to play the drums i got a very hard time cause the bands that i'm listening to, metallica, megadeth, testament, have very complicated drumlines, i have to hone my ears and my limbs to be able to comprehend and appreciate them. But now, sad to say that all you hear is screaming and monotonous drumlines, for short..BORING.
