always learn to say, "no" to your child whenever necessary.

be honest... don't make false promises, the child always remember and he/she might think your lying...

Yes sakto jud.. Be consistent with rules of discipline. Do not swing back and forth between permissiveness and authority. This confuses the child., encourages him to constantly test parental intentions, and creates an insecurity within the child that remains with him in later life.

also, there's always truth to the saying..."kung ano ang ginagawa ng matanda ay nagiging tama sa mata ng mga bata". my child is very inquisitive so i never allow my child to see me do things i cannot explain.

Establish early - on in the young child's life that parents are leaders and the authority under God in the home.

Talking to your children is good starting point. Then sitting out for a minute per age is usally the next step. Afterwards talking to them after the sit out. If the behavior continues it is a spank on the bottom. The extreme behaviors I see some parents allow is outrageous! Why should a child be allowed to hit their parent or throw a tempertantrum to get what they want. Then again it is the parents fault for allowing it and giving in to the child out of guilt or embarassment. We are all parents and should discipline as we see fit. The children need guidance and structure.
