Portable Hard Drives: Lend me your ideas

Situation:
I am currently scouting for a USB-powered portable/external hard drive with USB 3.0 support.
Initial preference was 500Gb, later changed to 1Tb due to availability issues.
I have boiled down to two options:

A) Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex USB 3.0 1Tb - priced at 5,750php

-CNET's editor's choice 2010
-3-year warranty
-Proprietary accessories - "personality" cables

B) Buffalo MiniStation USB 3.0 1Tb - priced at 5,700php
Buffalo Tech MiniStation Cobalt USB 3.0 Review - Watch CNET's Video Review

-Fast write speed but limited due to FAT format (may be solved when converted to NTFS)
-1 year warranty
-Useful software tools

I need your inputs on these two.
Anyone with real-world experience with these items is much appreciated.

I've been to GI, PCQB, Octagon, Silicon Valey, BnS Section.
As usual, GI has the lowest price.
If you know a store with a better price or having a sale with these items, please let me know.

seagate implements proprietary connectors, so if naay laing seagate product, compatible ra.

nice compliment diay ang hard drive sa media player.
proof na NTFS by default ang format ka seagate goflex..

might want to consider WD, nndot pud bya cya.
i have a 1tb WD essentials external hdd diri, 1 year na pero wa pay problema. ang akong problema ani kay puno na, ngita na pd kog lain kasudlan sa files. wahahaha
