just wanna share a lively experience i had this afternoon:
foreigner was literary parking at the parking drivaway exit blocking all other cars who want to get out. it took some time to look for him and finally ask him to move. since i was in a hurry and needed to catch up on an appointment, and mildly annoyed:
me: that your car?
foreigner: yes?
me: you can just park there u knw or here (pointing to other open spaces)
foreigner: guard told me to park here! (angrily)
me: (increasingly annoyed at the arrogance) its just common sense and bogo, shaking my head
filipina wife: (overheared the "bogo" word and joined the lively conversation): what is your problem?
me: (shaking my head): walks away grumbling at the ensuing stupidity
parking attendant: maybe already familiar with the guy said: sagdii nalang to cya sir kay giro dyud to cya (just let him be cz he's really just arrogant)
im pretty sure everyone at that scene were shaking their heads and laughing
kalami tubagun ug:
1. if gi ingnan ka sa guard na park diha dapita it doesnt mean na mag ali ka, mangita gihapon kag tarung lugar ka parkingan. if wala dyud, den ayaw pugsa or if wa ka choice, ayaw biyai ang sakyanan para ka move dayud if naay lain mu exit. you are the driver and its you car so its your responsibility not the guard.
2. ayaw i blame ang guard, if he tells you to murder someone, are you gonna do it just because he told you so? common sense rana.
3. klaro man dyud kaayo na ikaw sad-an, you can just simply apologize for being an inconvenience to others rather than being arrogant and blame the guard and masuko pa nuon sa uban na imo gihasol.
i took pictures of his car blocking the way but will not upload them nor give more details as to where this happened, and whats the car and plate number, dont want to blow up this issue. i just wanna share this experience and hope this gives a heads up to other drivers out there who may have similar attitudes. theres no place in the road for you.
