    Default Help on Upgrading

Currently playing dota 2 and having a hard time with playing at low reso and lowered texture detail
    Thus! Need to upgrade..
Limitations: Budget ( I only have 10k pesos as of the moment and will have more funds on january 25th mga another 10k -12k budget -- sweldo

Current Cpu Spec: ( don't laugh! what do you expect from a console dude and someone that plays dota 1 on rgc, ang main use ra gyud sa cpu sauna kay pang facebook, og dota, I do video editing sa akong lappy which is running on an i3 but I rather boost my pc atm)

    Procie: AMD Sempron 145 - 2.8ghz
    Ram: 2 gig
    Mobo: ECS MCP61M-M3
    GPU: Nvidia 9400GT
    PSU: Generic 600w
Casing: Microatx man ang board so microatx sad ang casing

Wants: To play dota 2 on 1600x900 and max detail settings, able to run adobe after effects.

    Plan A,B& C:

    Plan A - buy a new GPU -- a Sapphire or PC 6790
10kphp- new branded PSU -- to support the GPU
    - new casing -- any that supports long cards
    - keep current board and procie

    when additional funds come in:
    10kphp - change board and procie: i3 2100 sandybridge

Plan B - Keep the board -- buy a new procie that supports AM3 -- thinking of phenom II x4's offering
    10k php - more ram
    - new casing/branded na psu

    when additional funds come in:
    10k php - new gpu
    - new branded psu / casing

Plan C - new board and procie i3 2100 sandy bridge
    10k - keep current gpu

    - additonal funds come in
    7k - ram / psu / casing

    - extra kuot sa bulsa and strict diet
    - bang for your buck na vcard around 6000php

I was hoping to have a kind insight on what plan I should get, what parts I should buy and what's a feasible or mas magamit nako ang computer without a really a high bottleneck within the time period na wala pa ang extra funds. I don't want to wait na one time bigtime na palit coz I have a certain budget now atleast ma improve gamay ang gaming experience and once ma complete ang rig kai I can run dota 2 on mid/high settings on 1600x900 and I hate being called noob sa dota 2 hahaha... I really do... coz mga retarded ang mga players but I can rarely play decently on my pc as of the moment. Note: No problems with the net...

Bro suggest nko nga upgrade ka una sa psu and video card. Silverstone 600w non modular is 4k php so 6k can be used for vcard...

Next upgrade to 2100 and mobo and ram. Get at least 4 gb ram. Nice na nah for editing.

I suggest get nvidia card coz mg editing and games. And suggest ko gtx 400 up. Hehe para wla nai mahay. Im selling my gtx 460 diay. Pm if interested. This vcard can support crysis and bf 3 in 1080p ultra. Hehe

    kani ako tampo

-get decent brand PSU, 600watts at least and 80+ certified, if naa pa budget proceed to nxt step....
-replace mobo/mem/procie to i3/i5, retain videocard (way future na imo sempron and it would be a waste get a decent videocard unless change sa ka procie. get 4gig of mem or 8 if possible... if naa pa budget proceed to next step
-buy decent videocard for your gaming needs, and maybe replace case at this point.

rough idea lang ni ako gi suggest on what to do. you pick what brands you like and adjust depending on your budget-on-hand. along d way maka additional pundo man ka wen u decide to sell out the stuffs u dont need anymore.

@akomao: true.. any thoughts on how the gtx550 does against the radeon 6790?
    @werty: checking pc express...

as of the moment I'm considering making the psu first priority... but when it comes to procie and mobo I really don't have any clue... is it better not to spend to much on a mobo coz I have little to nothing knowledge basta mobo... and how do you overclock? I've read threads about this but i'm not quite sure if I'd do it alone kay basin mubuto pa hinuon ang pc... so would you consider the lower end of the spec na i5 rather than i3?
