    dont you think the 'void' in the main function is not necessary and is not part of the ISO rule of ANSI C?
    hahaha

    .. compilers such as GNU C will generate warnings without the 'void' in a parameterless function, some compilers like in portable C even generates link error..
    in summary: some compilers complain if you don't use void in a parameterless function.

    in respect to the death of DMR, it was a compiler independent code.. and that is how we do it old school style..
