Naka suway nakog visa interview sa US embassy but not for a tourist visa. Ako ma advice is be straightforward sa imong mga answer, dont be intimidated sa mga consul.

If you're single, jobless and in your prime, your chances of getting a tourist visa is close to zero. Unless nakay ika show nga evidence sa consul nga mobalik ka diri, i.e. imong job, business, properties, di gyud ka matagaan og tourist visa.

Ang main question gyud anang mga consul basta tourist visa is, "prove to me that you will come back to the Philippines"

They'll assume nga mag TNT ka, whether mao na imong intention or dili, so its up to you to convince them nga mobalik paka diri.

agree. you just have to be able to show na mobalik pa jud ka diri sa pilipinas. if you have a job, dapat nindot imo income. if naa kay business, it must be stable. make sure lang na when you get there, you're prepared with bank documents, certificate of employment or corporate papers, titles if you have real estate or other properties etc. they won't necessarily ask for it but mas maayo na ready ka...
nya just be honest. i think the consuls can see and feel the sincerity in your answers. and be straightforward. only answer what is asked. don't go on chika mode kay dili mo close sa consul, hehe.
when you go for your interview, be at your best. wear something nice and presentable. ayaw sad paparlor or anything ha. basta look respectable.
and relax...! dili ginoo ang mga amerikano. so don't be intimadated. bisan maayo sila mo-english. hahaha.
    good luck!!!

    Another tip: pray

Sumtyms the consul just looks at u without asking for ur documents daw then either approved or denied ka...i hvnt tried applying although im considering kay ako sis naga vacation sa U.S and next time i want to go with her but siya kay gi ask ra what iya position then wala na gi ask iyang docs..approved daun...akong isa ka sis...3x na..daghan properties confident sad but cge ka deny so pirmi bilin everytime iya hubby mag vacation sa U.S.

With the consuls...sometimes feel feel ra...if dili daw ka nila feel...awww sorry..

But i agree with babsi, dili ginoo ang mga Americans so if denied..so what? Dili ra sila ang pwede suroyan...I rilly want to go to Australia for all the rides there na dili lang 3Gs but higher...

You need to present proof that you have strong roots in the Philippines for you to come back. My interview in the US Embassy was just a formality.

yup..sakto..basta naa kay mapakita nga proof nga mobalik ka & plus klaro nga makaafford ka nga molarga then it should not be hard to get the visa. wear something presentable jud, basin moadto nga nga mag maong nya mag sandals..wehehe. answer when asked lang, basin nyag ikaw na nihoon ang magcge storya sa examiner hahaha...maybe sometimes swerte2 ra na...i heard rumors nga naa silay limit or something... so pray sad..hehe
