About AMD 6970 power consumption

Good day to all the pros and computer enthusiast here in Istorya.

Mangutana ta ko if enough na ba ang SilverStone Strider SST-ST50F-230 to power a AMD 6970. Kay muupgrade ta ko to 6970.

Current specs are:

AMD Phenom X4 965 BE 3.4ghz
MSI 880-GM E43
2GB Kingston (Waiting for 2X2GB Ripjaws GSkill)
ATI 5770
1 500GB Sata
DVD-RW
Strider SST-ST50F-230
Fans:
1 200mm
3 120mm
1 80mm

If dili ka igo ako PSU, what PSU and how many watts would it take to power a single 6970?

A 6970 is a very power hungry GPU, go with 650watts para naai headroom gamay imong PSU.

If dili kuhaon sa ako manghod kay ako ni siya ibaligya. Naka built pa man gud siya but if malingaw ra ni siya og maau sa PS3 mabaligya ra jud ni nako.

600-750watts nga silverstone which ever fits the budget.
