External Combo Drive Problem

Guys the external dvd drive of my bro laptop cant read dvd movies. Its an asus SCB-2408-D

unsa region setting sa dvd ug sa imong drive?
there are some tools on the net that enable you to change the rpc setting of your drive kung mao na ang problem (pero limited no. of times lang)...

naka bantay btw ko ana inig change nako kai mu error man. unsa man angay na region sa rpc ana bai blade?

rpc 1 mao na region free pero rpc2 depende sa setting ka upat ra ka kausab sa region.

i not quite sure if i remembered it correctly. i changed my sony combo drive setting to something like region x (i think...). using some tool from the net. after that it can play any DVD movie i put into it. one things for sure, there is a note i read that it is only good up to 4 times as what gtjr_ph has stated.
