i have a problem with my combo drive

hello peeps,

i got a problem with my samsung combo drive 2years old. recently, pili-an na kaayo cya ug cds/dvds. naa koy splinter cell chaos theory, call of duty 2, splinter cell pandora tomorrow. tanan ni cla dili ma install sa ako combo drive ky at a certain part sa installation, naay some files that cannot be copied. what im sad about, is that mu install raman ni nga games sa ako kauban nga ga new LG dvd wid lightscribe and i also know someone who owns a samsung combo drive dayon ok raman iyaha.

what should i do?

should i buy a dvd writer nalang pud? and if mupalit ko (im planning to), unsa pud nga brand muy maayo? samsung, asus, LG? ako budget is 2.5k. please share some knowledge.

bro have u tried cleaning ur combo lens, try to clean it... kay murag dugay2x napud baya diay nang imong combo...
basin giagop-opan nana.. basin lang ha...

sugestyon:
if ever palit ka og bag-o please to make malmal of it, testing it with yourself sa bag o pa...... para while replace warranty is still hot......mag testing ka og write for 3-5 consecutive writing.... butangi og cd nga garason kaau ipaexercise taman... if magfail gani, pailisi dayon....kay dli man gud tanang components sa tanang device pareha og quality nga molongtad og dugay bisan branded pa...some devices kay tatakan og QC bisan wla gicheck og taman...
if natesting na gud ang device usahay pag abot sa enduser kay mopalpak na kay hapit na diay nisurender pag testing...swerte2x rana bro...

Bro, kung mopalit ka ug new combo drive i suggest sony or asus brand, medyo mahal pero the best ang quality. Na-a koy asus combo drive, mag-3 years na pero ok pa gihapon...

@cooldude, yup, ill go for asus nalang bro tag 2.7k gamay ra labaw sa LG. somebody also told me hp and asus ang maayo nga brands.
