AVEXIR: Why you should care if you are an enthusiast
Judging from the products line-up from AVEXIR at this year's COMPUTEX, it appears they are well endowned to be one of the leading memory players in the enthusiasts market along side with Taiwan based G.Skill, TeamGroup and GeIL. Later part of this year, they will focus on pushing their own brand memories instead where in the recent years, they have taken a more backstage approach by supplying modules to well-known memory brands.
Over at COMPUTEX, AVEXIR has showcased their latest Core series memory which sports a newly improved heat speader, 2oz copper, 8-layer PCB as well as LED that emits blue or green colors depending on the voltage set. Green denotes energy saving mode with voltage set below 1.35V while Blue denotes overclocked mode with voltage set above 1.65V. Memory ICs from AVEXIR Core series are pre-sorted to ensure stability at overclocked conditions.
